We celebrated July 4th this year in East Texas at Cherokee Lake. My dad and uncle have a lake house there that they recently purchased for work. I was unsure how all 12 of us were going to fit into a 2500ft home but it worked amazingly well. While we were there the kids got to do lots of fishing, Madelyn caught her first fish and Bentley also caught a fish and well Haley didnt really care for the worms. We went to Bikini Beach and played in the sand, there were tons of people there on the 4th-like 1500-2000 people, it was crazy! We ate lots of yummy food and you can see Haley enjoyed her some dr pepper while on vacation. 4th of July night we went out in the boat and watched a spectacular firework show and came back and did our own (even more spectacular thanks to Uncle Chris, Pa and Daddy). On Saturday we were able to go shopping at First Monday in Canton and I definitely hope to get back there soon and this time kids will be staying with Nana:)
