Well we are officially settled and involved with many things here already. Bentley is really enjoying school and making many friends! He has also started Tae Kwan Do-yes, he has attempted some moves on his sisters. Madelyn has started preschool and attends 3 days a week along with a new ballet class and she LOVES all of it! The teachers/director there are so stunned by how she has acted...they said its if she has always been there. Haley is hanging out with me, attending the child care center when I work out and MOPS childcare playing with all her new friends too:) She really wants to be like "MO" a.k.a. Madelyn so I have put her on the waiting list to attend mothers day out where Madelyn goes twice a week.
I have been busy fixing up our "old piece of junk" -thats what Bentley called it when we first moved here (he now thinks it is very nice and "cool"). The house is old, built back in the early 60s, all original hardwood, very "brady bunch-like". I will try and remember to take and post a few pics. I wish I had before ones, this place really does look like a total home makeover! In addition to all of that and chauferring my children around I have joined the Women's Club in the neighborhood (a very big deal here, in fact Jason's boss was the one to introduce it to me-she lives right down the road from us), I have joined MOPS and have went out for cocktails with the girls there already, and of course joined a fitness center and am trying very diligently to train myself for the upcoming 1/2 marathon in San Antonio in Nov.
Jason is enjoying work...good thing since he moved us out here:) He has had many encounters with "famous AT&T personnel" and he claims there arent enough hours in the day because he stays so busy and time flies for him.
Visitors: So far only my mom has been up here. She came for a week to help unpack and help settle us. We really enjoyed all her help...thanks MOM!! Next month, we are expecting Aunt Kay for a visit and possibly Granny and Pop so it should be fun..
Well I think that about recaps our month of September. Hopefully, I will get better at this and blog more frequently.
