Looks Cute, huh?
Well, my day started off wonderful, I went on a 5 mile bike ride and spent about 1.5 hour fiddling around alone while everyone else was sleeping. We made it to the store and back to unload and headed down to the pool just in time for "donuts and ribbons" (takes place on Wednesdays the morning after our swim meets). Brannan had fallen asleep and gotten about an hour nap. We hung out at the pool until about 12:30 and then Brannan was ready for nap #2. One of my friends offered to bring the girls home later and then another offered to bring Bentley a little later than that. I thought, awesome, I'll get him to sleep and then get a few things done..WRONG! He realized he was the only kid with me and totally took advantage of it. I thought it was cute. He went down a little later, after girls came back but only slept 30 min. He was fine for about 30 min but quickly became a holy terror and STAYED that way until 7 when he went to bed. Is there a warranty because his "laidback" feature failed today and I expect it to be fully replaced/repaired..whatever by 8am. WOW, what an afternoon/evening! Still, not even sure what it was..probably overly tired..*sigh*
What you let your kids do when you are too exhausted to play games with them..
Yes, I was so tired by the end of today that after we had our afternoon shower, the kids put on their rainboots and went and played in the mud (right after eating their Go-Jo's (?) oreos and milk-that's what is all over Haley's face:). They had a great time. In fact, when Jason came home tonight, he asked if they had a good day and their response was "Yes, it was GRRREAT! We played in the mud all evening:)" This was obviously the "before" picture and I was unable to get an "after" due to my 6-month-olds ongoing temper-tantrums..
I am worn out and so very thankful that I rarely have days like today!
